First and foremost, we would like to thank many exciting customers for the interesting projects with which we were once again able to support many exciting customers — from naming to brand architecture and strategic consulting. We reminisce about organizing insights into complex IT solutions, inspiring brainstorming for changing entertainment formats or conceptual brand language systems from premium lifestyle brands.
We remember “Bayern 1 — gehört ins Leben” (a wordplay for a radio station, as "gehört ins Leben" means "belongs to life" but "gehört" also means "heard"), “Zvoove — your next move”, the significant renamings “Boostrack” and “Atruvia” or the product-oriented naming “ABB Motion OneCare”. All have an impact-specific sound, are unique and memorable. Sometimes factual, sometimes playful, sometimes emotional. All names from this year are likeable, appealing and confidence-inspiring. In this way, they support the brand story and give the product, service or brand its very own identity.
In addition, we were able to develop two more brand names with an associative character in the health and mindfulness segment: Calmalaif and Ivorell. While one sounds like the sparkling creativity of the lively dm private brand for sparkling water, the other reassures the customer when purchasing a natural Bayer medicine to promote sleep. We'll leave the it up to you to guess which is which. 😊
We're enjoying another sip of mulled wine when an electric car quietly hums past us. We immediately connect the glowing spotlights to the Kostal “Enector” wallbox: an electrifying project dated last spring. Behind the brand development is a morphological creation that combines the terms "energy" and "connector" just as confidently as the new Enector wallbox supplies an electric vehicle with self-generated electricity. Creative, significant — a real success story for Kostal Solar Electric, our long-standing customer.
We head home in peace and quiet and enjoy the glowing starry sky. Fascinating — this brilliant twinkle of the stars and this endless magic. What a source of inspiration! The brand system around the names ID Panstar or ID Loneos immediately appears in our minds. They come from our collaboration with Governikus, an IT security pioneer focuesed on e-government and e-jurisdiction from Bremen. As part of a rebranding process, we created the company name inspired by astrologer Copernicus a few years ago. With success, because over time, the highly specialized service provider had developed a wide range of products, resulting in lack of clarity and orientation for customers. That's how we received a call for advice.
The assignment: “Please develop a comprehensible and customer-friendly naming system that describes our brand in a meaningful way and gives customers an easy orientation within our portfolio.” A multi-faceted project in which we first sorted the services and solutions together with marketing managers and then structured them. Only then was it time to design the naming system. The solution: a nomenclature that consistently addresses the astrological company name. ID Mercury, Data Varuna, Data Aeonia or Com Tauri — a coherent verbal portfolio structure inspired by the stars.
Just before we get home, we're satisfied: whether it's a short name or a concise sentence, a compelling slogan or the entire corporate language — verbal brand development is our great passion. In 2021, we once again succeeded in presenting complex systems for our customers in a light and elegant or precise and powerful way. That was fun. We are motivated — 2022 can come!
