READY TO BEEF

Name development for a cooking show

Ready for big entertainment? Brand naming for a cooking show with Tim Mälzer and Tim Raue.

Ingredients for successful naming

The culinary competition is running at prime time and, therefore, needs to attract many viewers in front of the television. Considering the show contents, the aim is to create a name that is cool, unusual and aggressive in a positive way.

An exceptional recipe: the right brand strategy

Cooking shows are as common as table salt. Clearly, the name of the new VOX and RTL+ program should differ from the other well-known shows.

Tim Mälzer as presenter and one-man jury Tim Raue should not appear in the name. Overused terms such as “cooking” and “cuisine” should not define the new name either.

Instead, there is one main point: the challenge.

The sugar and spice of media titles

After a detailed briefing — including some suggested names from VOX for inspiration — and a competitive analysis of the heavily inflated market, we worked out various thematic fields. It quickly becomes obvious that a competition character is still a favorite.

The winner takes it all. Because “Ready to Beef” significantly differs from the competition and whets the viewer's appetite for a fiery duel.

Your way to the right brand strategy.
